After the end of the war the Allgaier plant was able to take up again the manufacturing of iron products from autumn 1945 on.
At the same time, under the management of Erwin Allgaier, a low cool and simple designed farm tractor was developed, powered by an engine made by KAELBLE of Backnang, a family related company.
The condition of the French occupation force was to grant a production permit only these firms which were already engaged in particular market segments before the war: the Allgaier tractor had the KAELBLE - trademark on its radiator tank.
KAELBLE had made tractors already in the thirties.
