39 years after the tragedy at Le Mans, Mercedes returned to the Formula 1 Circus.
Therefore Mercedes decided in 1994 on a comeback, together with Peter Sauber from Switzerland.
The drivers were the German Heinz-Harald Frentzen and the Austrian Karl Wendlinger.
