Mercedes Benz 630K

Year: 1926
Power: 100 / 140 PS
Capacity: 6240 ccm

In 1923, after the demise of Paul Daimler, the new chief designer Ferdinand Porsche commenced development of the Type 630 which was put on the marker in 1924.

In 1926 the Mercedes-Benz version K was added which had the same engine mounted in a shorter chassis.

The output was 100 hp without and 140 hp with supercharger.

It was available either as a sporty four seater with four doors or as a two door roadster.

On the right hand side of the engine hood there are three metal pipes connected to the outside for exhaust gas discharge.

This detail later became characteristic for Mercedes-Benz cars with supercharger.

The maximum speed of the sports cars is about 145 km/h.
