The first Vector W8 with double turbocharger was presented at the New York Motor Show In September 1990.
During the next years, 17 customer cars and 2 prototypes were manufactured.
The Prices ranged from roughly 300,000 to more than 400,000 Dollars.
Its technical design did not differ much from the W2 presented in 1978.
The central element of its monocoque is a frame made of chrome moly tubes connected to aluminium honeycomb elements, carbon and Kevlar parts.
According to the manufacturer, the car reaches a top speed of 322 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
