The Heron Suzuki shown here belonged to the three Skoal Bandit motorcycle which competed in the 1986 Grand Prix World Championship series.
The rider was Paul Lewis.
In the final classification of the 500 cc class he finished on the 18th place.
The Skoal Heron Suzuki was the first Grand Prix motorcycle which instead of the
traditional aluminium frame was equipped with a glass fiber frame developed by Ciba Geigy.
This reduced the weight to only about 90 kilobrams.
