With the 888 Strada and the SP5 an era ended for Ducati that had begun with the 851 S in 1989.
Continuously improved, this model was not only present on all streets but also on all racetracks in the world.
In the Superbike and Pro Superbike series, the 851 / 888 models could enjoy some successes until they were replaced by the 916 in 1994.
