With the 999 Biposto, Ducati wanted to make the true and trusted design even better.
Due to a two arm swing arm and a changed weight distribution, handling was much better than with its predecessors.
The adjustment options for the rider were also new.
The footpegs could be adjusted in 5 steps and the tank with seat could be moved by 20 mm forward and back to achieve an optimal riding position.
In racing, the 999 continued the successes of former years and won victories and
titles for Italy.
Special features of this bike: This 999 Biposto was delivered ex-factory painted in black, a feature reserved for only a small number.
In addition, number panels were added and the weight reduced by 12 kg.
