The engine has an overhead camshaft as well as a dual throat downdraft carburetor.

The Horch 853 A was ahead of its time and also a great success thanks to its advanced technology.

During its production period (1935 to 1939) 1,006 units were built.

On 7 September 2012 the car participated at the Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance, one of the most exclusive Concours of Elegance events worldwide.

The Horch 853A is one of the rarest automobiles in the world and it was an honor for us that it was elected for this high-class event.
