Maybach Spezialrennwagen

Year: 1920
Power: 300 PS
Capacity: 23000 ccm
Engine: 6 cyl

Thanks to some private sportsman, the Maybach name became famous for a very special category of racing cars which appeared in the old days of motor car racings.

Immens Maybach airship engines which were used before WWI had been fitted in some chassis with robust gears, and used after wards in those very popular races in short distances.

The very long bodywork, fiexd on high wheels intensified the formidable impression you had when driving this car.

The engine developed 300 HP so that the car could attain a top speed of 200 km/h, only limited by the courage of the driver.
