Mars A20

Year: 1920-32
Power: 7,3-18 PS
Capacity: 956 ccm

The Mars-works in Nurnberg/Doos, established in 1903, were originally engaged in the production of bicycles and iron ovens.

Already before WWI the manufacturing of motorcycle was taken up.

But Mats became famous from 1920 on, when, contrary to the trend in these days, the Mars A 20 with 956 cc was presented to the public.

The vehicle was propelled by a 2-cylinder longitudinally positioned transverve flat
engine, which was manufactured by Maybach exclusively for Mars.

It had an output of appr.

8 hp and could reach a top speed of 90 km/h.
